May the force be with you!
I would love one of those posh rhubarb forcers, but have you seen the price of them? I'm rather partial to those lovely cloches in the background too.
Wow, those rhubard forcers are gorgeous, and a whole row!!!
Oh how I would love forcers like that - so gorgeous but so expensive, oh and the glass house style cloches - heavenly. We're having rhurbarb tart tonight - yipppeeeee! And yes indeed, I feel the force is strong with you, ahahaha
Now HM if I win that lottery rollover tonight rhubarb forcers will definitely be on the shopping list. Great photo. Tatton ?
Ah ha - but what if I tell you all that they weren't rhubarb forcers? Or at least they weren't being used to force rhubarb? They did have rhubarb forcers - they seemed a bit taller. I agree though - they are very desirable, as are the lovely glass cloches. You're right, Anna - the photo was taken in the walled veg garden at Tatton.
So, what are these? Devices for growing sea kale or celery?
Lisa and Robb - yes, they had sea kale being forced under them!
