Fantastic.Follow till they drop!Esther
Just as fascinating as at the spring end of business.
A brilliant sequence - amazing colours, especially in the last two.
Interesting to see it actually happening. The change is so astonishing!
Brilliant! - in idea and execution. Quite fascinating to study the changes...
@Esther - I was photographing them every Friday for the previous 5 weeks, but last Thursday night was very windy. Friday morning - no more leaves :(Thanks for all your comments. I really enjoyed the little project, and it was fascinating to see the speed of change. If I was at home in the day, it would be nice to see the daily changes near the end of the process. Unfortunately, I go to and return from work in the dark :(
Fascinating to see the changes like that.I think we are ahead of you - or maybe it's just windier here - we've had bare branches & leaves all over the lawn for some time now.
What a brilliant idea! Wonderful to plot the changes like that, and such a glorious orange at the end.
What a great idea! It's amazing how quickly the leaves change - and how quickly we forget the different stages of change ....or is that just me?!
I love that - superb photos even though it is really quite orange again. In fact your robin has an orangey breast too - seems to be a common theme.
All those colours are wonderful, and what a great idea; clever of you to be able to remember which leaves you were photographing too, I'd probably forget!
I'm so fascinated of the development took place with the leaves. You're really good taking those pictures. Thanks for sharing. I hope I could see more of them.
Nice! I simply love it. By the way, what plant is that?
