Tarantara! What's happening to your photography? Leaping and bounding. Isn't this splendid?!

Beautiful photo. Astrantia must be one of the most beautiful flowers around. Sadly they are little known due to their dimunitive size. If they were bigger they would be in every garden.

Enjoying the blog.

Great photo. I find small white flowers really difficult to photo well

Just perfick in every aspect except their aroma which reminds me of a damp flannel. Great photo.

Hi Esther - thank you for the kind comment. I've been practicing hard on my photography recently :)

Silas - thank you for visiting and for your comment. Times spent admiring the intricacy of an Astrantia is never time wasted.

Hi Liz - thank you :)

Hi Helen - thank you. I've had problems with white flowers, too, but this one came out well. I took this one in the shade, as taking them in sunshine just doesn't seem to work at all.

Hi Anna - I am now going to have to sniff them to check on their damp flanneliness :-D

Hi Kate - thank you. They really are such pretty flowers, aren't they?

Wow, what a great photo! I have only ever seen the Astrantia a handful of times and you have captured it beautifully. You have renewed my want for one :)!
