  1. Lovely and interesting flower! I love the entire epimedium clan! They are adorable flowers and the plants themselves are attractive! Spotted heart shaped leaves are perfect! gail

  2. So many people don't use this plant (at least, around here) and it's just so awesome, both in bloom and out of it. The foliage is gorgeous, too.

  3. Think this is one of the beauties bred by Ellen Wilmott, at Warley Place. Such good plants in difficult places.

  4. The flowers have a beautiful apricot colour, with the subtle blending of warm colours. It's very attractive.

  5. yes, I'm surprised it isn't used more. I planted several in a new border we dug in the autumn, and it's so exciting to see the flowers coming up. they're so delicate.

Lovely to hear from you, Zoe. ellen wilmott seemed to be a formidable lady!

  7. Mine is flowering too - and this year I chopped down the foliage before the flowers grew too tall! Not something that happens every year.

  8. That's just lovely! If I won the lottery, I'd become an Epimedium collector & this would be one of the first I'd add.
