Nigel, there were holes in the fabric making up 3 sides of the garden. I think the holes were to mimic juggling balls in mid air. It was interesting to peer through the holes to get different views.
My alliums are being a little reticent at the moment, too.

That's lovely - I like the fact that the framing effect isn't quite a circle - it works really well.
