Thanks, Karen. The hellebore are from last year - this year's are just starting to flower.

Beautiful, most of my cyclamen have died in the snow :(

Great photo, cyclamen are so hard to capture too.

Cyclamen are among my top-most favourite flowers, whether little and delicate or big and brash.

Hi Happy, that is truly a happy looking flower! We have heard that they are hardy here, but don't like competition. Those are difficult conditions to find, but would be worth the effort for a flower so beautiful.

To everyone wishing the flowers of their cyclamen had made it unscathed through the winter, so do I! The photo was taken this morning in the alpine house at Ness Botanic Gardens. Hence the unbattered look. I'd gone to see the snowdrops but they're not quite out fully yet.

Lovely colour, lovely photo! I like the effect of the soft focus around the central flower.

Pretty picture.
My C. coum are fine outdoors - it's one of the hardiest winter species in our garden. But only one little flower, so far, and lots of buds just beginning to show colour.

Where we lived before, over the 27 years of our residence, Cyclamen coum and C. hederifolium seeded all over, abetted by me each year, until they became lawn weeds and lined most of the paths. Lovely!
