To continue my Meconopsis obsession – yesterday it looked divine, the blue of the flower fading into the stem. Today a declining Hollywood beauty casting off petals, like Jayne Mansfield casting off a mink coat.

Jayne Mansfield's mink coats were never this gorgeous.
Although were almost definitely warmer.
I join your in your admiration of this beauty.
Glad to know that someone else is besotted with these wonderful plants. My "Lingholm" are just finishing but betonicifolia are just starting to flower and hopefully grandis will start in about a week, so lots of beauties still to come. They are all so beautiful, super photos.
