Today, I dug up a whole pork pie which was buried in the front garden.

I've tried to take a photo of the savoury snack in question this morning, but it's in the shade at the moment, and the photos haven't come out very well. It's well preserved in the frost though!

I believe that people from Korea sometimes make a dish called Kimchi by burying it in their garden and letting it ferment!

Was it a Melton Mowbray Pork Pie?

It could well have been a Melton Mowbray - the meat was looking grey rather than pink.

Easygardener - I'm worried about what 'whole pork pie' could possibly be a euphemism for?!
