5. Sight

The sight of flowers makes my heart race in a way that some people get when they see a pair of Jimmy Choos.

And yet humans can only see some of the beauty of flowers.

Isn't that the way bees and other insect see them? If I remember rightly those markings in the UV picture are the plant's way of saying oi, the food's over here!

Even the poor visioned among us can be overcome with the sight of those flowers.

I could never understand the attraction of Jimmy Choos - but then with feet used to only boots and flip flops - that is perhaps understandable.

I love these images HappyM.

What a sight! such lovely photos. Sight so precious but something we take so much for granted and rarely stop and stare, but dash on by.

VP - yes, it's fascinating, isn't it?

Frances, RO, Gail, Sky and Joanne - they're beauties, aren't they? Even something as 'common' as Calendula look absolutely stunning, especially with the sun on them.

Karen - I don't think I could even get my feet into Jimmy Choos. SomeBeans claims I have troll feet.

That was awesome! I had never really thought about flowers looking different to other animals, even though I was aware that some animals see more colors than we do. Very interesting.
