"I think that no matter how old or infirm I may become, I will always plant a large garden in the spring. Who can resist the feelings of hope and joy that one gets from participating in nature's rebirth?"

No-one can resist it.

That's why I always 'start off' too many plants - my inner-self is under the impression that I have a much larger garden than is truly feasible within the physical space it occupies.

Esther, me too.

I have the seed and seedling collection of a medium sized country estate, but the actual acreage of a postage stamp.

Can physicists not do someting spectacular with the space/time continuum to allow us to plant in a few extra dimensions?
