Not lazy enough for me. I can never get organised in time. That's a lovely Nerine - I like the bright pink ones. Very cheerful at this dull time of year.
Hi Happy, lazy in text maybe, but not in quality photos. They are superb! I wondered what the first flower was, nerine? What is blooming with the fig leaves, a fig flower? I don't believe I have ever seen one, they are lovely. Your photos are mouthwatering.

Hi EG - yes, the nerines are a gorgeous 'in your face' colour (at least the ones which escaped the snails are...)

We don't have cats, as my DH is allergic, but our DD, who is also allergic, has one anyway. Stewie is black like yours, and has an attitude, at times. He likes me, but not DH. I wait and let him come up to me when I'm over there.

I absolutely adore those nerines. I planted 30 last year and have had not a single flower. Are they fussy? I thought they would like my stony fast draining soil and tried to choose sunny places, but zilch.
