Ceci n'est pas un billet*

Well, it is actually, but also so much more than that. It's an opportunity to gaze, to shop, to gain inspiration, to look at perfect flowers in awe, to covet plants, to wish I had a bigger garden, to learn, to make notes, to take photos and to enjoy a day out amongst thousands of other plant lovers.
It's the Malvern spring gardening show. And I have my tickets! Now I just have to wait six weeks...

(*'This is not a ticket', with apologies to René Magritte)

Sadly I'll miss you again :(

I'm singing at Stourhead on Saturday, so am planning on going to Malvern on Friday.

My favourite gardening show :) The arrival of the tickets is always part of the anticipation isn't it ? I hope to get there this spring but still debating about which day to go. I am sure that you will have a great day.

Lucky you - have a great time!

I'm off to the Home Building and Renovations Show at the NEC tomorrow with Himself - to get yet more inspiration for my tea house (I think Himself is just trying to put it off a bit longer!), but it's just not in the same league as a gardening show!

You've made me feel all excited and I haven't decided whether to go to Malvern or not yet. Not long after to Chelsea though!

LOL! Mais, est-ce que c'est une pipe! I'm a huge Magritte fan. Enjoy!

I agree with you, that's not a ticket; it's a passport to garden dreams & inspiration.

I keep glancing at my Chelsea tickets sitting on the shelf. These flower show tickets promise so much enjoyment that you get pleasure just looking at them!
Enjoy Malvern when it finally arrives.

Apologies for the delay in replying - I've had a delightful 2 days in Birmingham for work. I took a photo of some planting for VPs 'Out on the Streets' but am incapable of downloading it from my mobile :(

Shame I won't be able to meet you, VP - here's to a future opportunity.

Thank you all for your comments. Nutty Gnome - the Home building and renovations show sounds interesting!

I sincerely hope that you will find time in your busy day to come and throw rotting veg at Joe Swift and I.
