I wonder if Arabella Sock can use her new found tracking skills to work out the direction of the prevailing wind?

A walk on the wild side
There really is nothing better than a hedgerow in May. The flora of North Wales was enjoying early May sunshine on Sunday.

I've always found leaning trees fascinating and a row of them is even more impressive. It must be breezy up there!
It is amazing how the countryside had burst into flower recently. Everything is so fresh and bright. Very uplifting.
Lovely pictures. Thank you. We saw cowslips when we were in Wales last week, and bluebells - two flowers we don't see here. And the leaning trees are beautiful, another memory of Wales for me!
Gorgeous photos - I love the trees!
Looks like you had a good weekend :)
Ha ha ha! I just looked at your pictures and thought "What a great example of trees bent by the prevailing wind". Then I saw you had mentioned me. All I need to know now is which way the prevailing wind blows in North Wales.
